This is a full-time or part-time, hybrid position for a Ocean Freight Forwarding Salesperson Position at Global Maritime, Inc. Located in Annapolis, MD.
Responsibilities
The responsibility for an ocean freight forwarding salesperson is maintaining and developing new costumers, booking cargo, interacting with shippers, shipline, trucking, and intermodal.
Qualifications
Strong interaction with shippers, shipline, trucking, and intermodaling. Experienced salesman with previous experience with off booking containers and brake box shipments. As well as oversized cargo.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience in shipping information and utilizing SEO
- Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Sales, Business, or related fields.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Preference for those with previous experience in freight forwarding, ship lines, and/or shipping brokerage.
